• Adjust your trajectory based on the direction of the waves
Are you already surfing on your own but feel like you’ve hit a plateau? Video coaching is the key to breaking through that plateau. By closely examining your movements, you can identify what’s holding you back—and correct it.
A comprehensive 2-hour package. Our video coaching combines a 1.5-hour session filmed in the waves with 30 minutes of personalized analysis with your instructor.
During the session, you surf freely while we capture every wave you ride. Takeoff, positioning, posture, trajectory—everything is recorded so we can analyze it later.
During the debriefing, we’ll review your footage together. You’ll see exactly what’s working and what can be improved: the position of your feet, the timing of your pop-up, the orientation of your shoulders… These are details that are often invisible in the heat of the moment, but they make all the difference.
You’ll leave with your video file, which will be sent to you by email, so you can continue working on areas for improvement between sessions.
This coaching session is designed for independent surfers who can paddle out to the peak on their own and catch their own waves without assistance. The instructor focuses entirely on filming to capture as many usable clips as possible. Not quite ready to surf on your own yet, but interested in video analysis? A package that includes in-water coaching is available upon request—contact us for a personalized quote.
