Classes for all skill levels

Group surf lessons in Hendaye are a great way to learn to surf and make rapid progress. Under the guidance of certified instructors, you’ll learn in groups tailored to your age and skill level, ensuring an effective and safe learning experience.

Beyond just the sport itself, our surf camps allow you to explore the marine environment: learn about waves, tides, and currents, as well as safety and etiquette rules, so you can enjoy the water with confidence.

During group lessons, you’ll gradually learn all the technical basics of surfing

• Analyzing the marine environment
• Choose a wave
• Paddle effectively and catch a wave while lying down
• Perform a take-off (stand up on the board)
• Find and maintain your balance while standing

• Turning (frontside and backside turns)
• Take off on a wave that hasn’t broken yet (smooth wave takeoff)
• Adjust your trajectory based on the direction of the waves
